About the Tour

This is a self guided tour. Click here for a map. For your enjoyment, we are offering complimentary Trolley Service sponsored by Great Lakes Real Estate.

Park your car and ride to the homes on the tour on the Great Lakes Real Estate Polar Express! Trolleys will make a continuous circuit from the village to Lower River Road. Scheduled stops are at the Barton Hill Hotel, The Country Doctor on Center Street, and each of the homes on the tour. However, feel free to flag one down anywhere along the route.

The complimentary trolley service begins at 10 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday and will end at 5 p.m. each day.

Take the opportunity to rest, warm up, and listen to wonderful Christmas music as you travel from home to home.

For Your Enjoyment, Please Do:

• Dress for the weather! We hope for fair weather and sunny skies, but a warm scarf and gloves will surely make the day even finer.
• Wear sensible shoes. Some of the approaches are very long!
• Wear those charming booties or remove your shoes in the homes to protect those beautiful hardwood floors and carpets. (Please remove high heels.)
• Refrain from taking photographs in the homes.
• Note that this is not an event suitable for young children.
• Stop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday or Sunday for the Dessert Sampling Reception at Barton Hill Hotel.
• Visit the Lewiston Museum, Barton Hill Hotel and Spa, The Country Doctor, and Canterbury Place.
• Check out all the special events and promotions of Lewiston’s merchants.
• Don't forget to stop in at the Holiday Jewelry show in the Fairbanks Room of the Barton Hill Hotel.
